ALYSSA MARY KIRBY

Alyssa completed her medical degree at Otago University in Dunedin and Wellington, graduating in 2009.

She then worked for three years as a junior doctor in Taranaki, before returning to Wellington
where she completed basic physician training and then advanced training in Cardiology.

Alyssa then completed a fellowship in Cardiac Rhythm Management focusing on implantable cardiac devices and then a further
fellowship in Adult Congenital Heart Disease. 

Alyssa returned to Wellington in 2020, as a Cardiologist specialising in adult congenital heart disease and implanting pacemakers,
defibrillators and cardiac resynchronization therapy devices.
She also has an interest in cardio-obstetrics and heart failure.
