Educated at Wanganui Girls' College Awarded the Travelling Scholarship in Medicine 1947, but did not use HS / HP, Wellington Hospital 1948 - 1949 Married Jack McCreanor in 1949, raised 4 children, and did not return to medicine until 1966 Established the new Cytogenetics Unit, Pathology Department Wellington Hospital Awarded the MD for "Studies in the Human Karyotype" Three months study leave in 1974, to North America and Europe.
