Educated at Wellington College and Waitaki Boys High School

Awarded the Burt Medal for Orthodontics and a scholarship to Northwestern University, where he took his DDS

Intern Fellowship at the Forsyth Infirmary, Boston, Massachusetts, USA. Gained the Certificate of Internship

Dental practice in Bath in the late 1930s.

WW2 service with the RAF and later with the RNZAF. Mentioned in dispatches.

Dental Surgeon, Wellington Hospital 1949 - 1968, and from 1950 he was Dental Surgeon-in-charge.

Retired to Waverley.
