Effective Management of Anaesthetic Crises (EMAC) Course

Target audience

This course is mandatory for ANZCA trainees and is recommended after completion of at least one year of vocational training.

The course is also suitable as CPD for specialist anaesthetists and other acute care specialists.

The course covers:

• human factors
• cardiovascular crises
• respiratory crises
• anaesthesia emergencies
• trauma

It includes:

• didactic sessions
• presentations
• simulation scenarios
• skills stations
