Wellington Regional Hospital Education Centre has two education suites - level 12, Ward Support Block contains two lecture theatres with a shared foyer area for networking. The rooms are available to hire during business hours and weekends.

Kenepuru Hospital Education Centre is located near the main entrance of Kenepuru Hospital. It provides facilities for health organisations to hold education sessions, seminars and meetings. This site is alcohol and smoke free.

Access

The education centre is 10 minutes off the SH1 off-ramp into Porirua city, and a 20 minute walk from Porirua Station. The buildings are fully accessible, with drive-on flat access. There is free car parking available for attendees. There are three rooms available for hire within normal business hours.

Ngā Wāhi Ākonga convention centre is a spacious, well-appointed venue located in park-like grounds in Porirua. It provides modern facilities for conferences, seminars, meetings and functions. Our mental health team manages the convention centre for both health community and corporate use.

Ngā Wāhi Ākonga convention centre is open between 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday, with access available after hours by arrangement.

Access

The buildings are fully accessible outside, with drive-on flat access. There is free car parking available for attendees. There are four rooms available for hire weekdays, evenings and weekends. Rooms are adaptable for a variety of purposes.
