Link Building – Wellington Regional Hospital

Capital & Coast DHB is working through the findings of a detailed assessment of the Link Building at Wellington Regional Hospital. The assessment was carried out as part of a wider programme of work to upgrade our campus.

The Link Building is adjacent to the University of Otago-owned academic block that is empty due seismic issues.

We currently have staff and non-clinical operations on one floor of the Link Building. Based on the findings of the detailed assessment, we have made the decision to vacate the Link Building over the coming weeks in order to undertake further investigations and remedial works.

The safety of our staff remains our highest priority. We will be keeping our staff updated as we move to next steps, and we continue our programme of upgrading our campus.
