Release of technical guidance related to the Heretaunga building

Following the announcement that a seismic assessment of the Heretaunga building at Hutt Hospital shows that it is earthquake-prone under the law, Hutt Valley DHB has released a range of supporting documents via its website.

The decision to take a precautionary approach and relocate services from the Heretaunga building, to allow for work to bring the building up to acceptable levels, was supported by a range of expert advice.
