Patients are encouraged to attend their appointments unless they have been directly contacted by hospital staff and advised not to attend.
Patients who have been told that they are deferred will be rescheduled at the next available opportunity.
Adelaide Road north of Wellington Regional Hospital remains closed due to the fire incident that occurred earlier this week.
If you are travelling to the hospital you may wish to plan your route in advance, and set aside additional time for your journey to account for a possibly longer route and increased traffic.
